Natural stone is a unique material that has been shaped by millions of years of the earth’s history. Its durability and robustness make it ideal for kitchen worktops. Each natural stone is unique, giving your kitchen a distinctive aesthetic.

Easy to clean and hard-wearing, natural stone only requires regular wiping with a mild detergent. Special impregnations offer additional protection and make care easier.

Quartzstone®2.0 impresses with its versatility and timeless elegance, ideal for kitchen worktops. Steinform relies on innovative technologies and sustainable production processes, using 100% renewable energy and 95% recycled water. Products contain at least 20% recycled materials, which reduces the environmental impact.

Quartzstone®2.0 worktops are durable, scratch resistant and temperature resistant up to 160°C – perfect for the kitchen. They are easy to clean; a damp cloth and mild detergent are sufficient.

OBSIDIANA

Sustainable elegance for your kitchen.

Obsidiana, made from up to 100% recycled glass, is ideal for kitchen worktops. Steinform favours products with environmentally friendly production techniques. Obsidiana is produced in Europe using 100% renewable energy and 95% recycled water.

These durable worktops are largely scratch resistant, temperature resistant up to 180°C, easy to clean and hygienic. Obsidiana is available in eight colours and two surfaces (polished and glacé).

Ceramic impresses with its versatility and timeless aesthetic, especially in the kitchen. Renowned manufacturers such as Marazzi rely on sustainable production techniques and use up to 40% recycled materials, which reduces their ecological footprint.

Ceramic worktops are robust, durable and easy to clean. A damp cloth and mild detergent are enough to keep the surface spotless. They are also resistant to stains, scratches and high temperatures. GLASS SPLASHBACKS

Glass splashbacks are an elegant and durable addition to kitchens. They are easy to clean and give the kitchen a modern look. Our “one-stop shop” service makes it easy for you to offer natural stone products and glass splashbacks together. This means that cutting, transportation and installation are carried out simultaneously by the same team, saving time and money.

What we offer:

• 6 mm tempered glass (ESG): Our splashbacks are always made of toughened glass, which shatters into small pieces when broken, thus minimising the risk of injury.
• Lacquered back: The back of each glass splashback is painted in RAL colour.
• Edges polished and lacquered: All glass edges are carefully polished and lacquered to ensure a high-quality finish and a clear silicone joint.
• Simultaneous assembly and transport: The glass splashback is measured, transported and installed together with the worktops, which ensures a smooth and efficient installation process.

General care instructions

• Regular cleaning: Wipe the surfaces regularly with a damp cloth and a mild, pH-neutral cleaning agent. Avoid aggressive chemicals that could damage the surfaces. Avoid aggressive chemicals that could damage the surfaces.
• Drying: After cleaning, wipe the surface dry with a soft cloth to avoid water stains.
• Impregnation: For natural stone surfaces, it is advisable to apply a special impregnation to make the natural stone less absorbent and provide additional protection against stains and moisture. This impregnation should be renewed every two to three years depending on use.

Specific care instructions

Natural stone: Avoid acids and alkalis: Natural stone can be damaged by acidic or alkaline substances. Do not use vinegar cleaners or citric acid.
Use protective underlays: under chopping boards, hot pots and pans and when using kitchen utensils to avoid direct contact with the stone surface.
Ceramic: Robust and easy to clean: Ceramic is very resistant to stains and scratches. A mild cleaning agent and a soft cloth are all you need for daily care.
Stubborn stains: If necessary, a light scouring agent can be used, but be careful not to use scouring pads that could scratch the surface.
• Quartz composites: No abrasive cleaners: Avoid abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads, as these can scratch the surface.
Heat resistance: Although Quartzstone® 2.0 is heat resistant up to 160°C, extreme temperature differences should be avoided. Always use mats for hot objects. Always use mats for hot objects.
